The weather forecast for Quito has been solid rain for weeks. Tara was there just before me and was deluged, sometimes so much that they couldn’t go out on their hikes. I was prepared for the worst. Good clothes, yes, but it makes for a tough trip.
The first day didn’t disappoint. I put on full foul weather gear and hiked up to the top of the hill above the hacienda.
