Much happening today. We worked things out to everyone’s benefit which is pretty much how every day was but there was more at stake today.
Brad was getting an extra day at lower altitude to recover and rest for the upcoming climbs. Gaspar was taking me back to Hacienda Rumiloma to get cleaned up and catch a ride later tonight to the airport for my return flight. Gaspar was also going to be able to make an important meeting in Quito this afternoon regarding his son. Everybody won.
We also met Estephania who had come to Pablo’s to give Brad and me massages. Wonderful lady.
The adventure part of the trip is definitely over for me. Now it’s all about meeting schedules and getting places on time.
